Batth to Norwich ** confirmed **

He wanted to play more games and the club couldn't guarantee him that, not my words but Speakmans, and again you are in the minority, most fans voted him as their player of the season.
I think you may be mistaken. For the first season in years, there was quite a split for player of the year. Clarke, Amad, O'Nien and Roberts all got quite a few votes which meant that Batth probably won with the lowest % for years. He won but wasn't voted for by "most" fans. It was about 30%, I think.

We’ve also just signed a Right Back which allows Hume to be cover as CB as well.

Seems that we have good cover and versatility in a number of positions and actually have good options for a change.

Let’s just pray they all don’t do the Sunderland thing of getting injured straight away.

IF the sole reason for his departure is Mowbray deciding he can't play "The Mowbray way" whatever that is then questions need asked.

I hope the reason is financial otherwise I'll lose all faith in our head coach.
Realistically likely a bit of everything. Big wages comparably, year left, coach prefers others . Not the ideal combo.

Shame - one of the better one of the last few years and a very nice lad.

Based on what?
Haven't seen anything of either of them.
Unfortunately Triantis looks miles off the first team at this moment in time after watching him in pre season and again the other night against Spurs, just not ready.

They all looked miles off at the back, in pre season: none moreso than Batth.

Can't comment on Spurs the other night. Haven't seen anything about it.

Triantis from what I’ve seen in pre season and u21s isn’t ready and Seelt we paid good money for but been crocked, let’s see with this big lad. Must have something about him

Aye this. Didn’t look great against spurs did he?

A shame but to be honest it was obvious it was going to happen when we signed Triantis and Seelt.

Whether we like it or not that’s the way the club is going. Young, mobile, athletic players and for the ‘model’ to be effective they need to get 1st team opportunities

Duffy and Baath CB’s for Norwich will mean they will be tough to score past. I’ve already been impressed by their start. Wagner might get them up imo.

Well then Mowbray is a clown and I say that as one of O'Nien's biggest fans btw.

You'd think he would have learnt from the absolute carnage at centre back last season but clearly not.
Alese will be back in October...that's Triantis, Seelt, Ballard, O'Nien and Alese with Zak Johnson as another at a push. I still personally would have kept Batth but perhaps his wages don't match sitting on the bench.
