Just walked from me garage to the house, which is about a 10 seconds work. Me clothes are f***ing stinking from one of the neighbours wood burners !!

It you burn decent wood and smokeless fuel there should be very little stench for the neighbours to worry about.

Depends what they're burning.

If it's throwing out stinking black smoke then it isn't a woodburning stove, it's probably an open fire.

I'm currently burning 100 year old seasoned fir from loft conversions we're doing. Chestnuts roasting on the top as we speak.

Don't fall asleep or you'll wake up with a burned and blistered arse like I did. Although that was a gas fire in a bedsit but the principle is the same.

This is what gets woodburners a bad name. This neighbour obviously has an open fire as smoke pours out of his/her chimney every day, even on mild days. I'm about 200yds away so don't get effected much but the immediate neighbours must hate the smell.
