Hugh Morris cited 'security' and 'lack of adequate medical facilities' as the reason. He (Prior) was in the top bracket of players and would have earned a minimum £65,000. Prior also states he would have pulled out of the BPL, if selected for Englands ODI games vs Pakistan.
