I don't disagree. It’s over 12 weeks since the Coventry fans threw glass bottles etc down and the club didn’t do fuck all. If they did something then the Burnley incident with the kid wouldn’t have happened
Make a good politician you, tell you are close to the club. I said what it said in the statement released by the club saying the "supporters group agreed a net wouldn't stop everything". Don't put words into my mouth. You’ve gone from “a net wouldn’t stop everything” to “the fan groups don’t want a net”.
It’s already going to be a monster operation for the club, so I doubt they will want to over complicate things.
At some point, and before March when the renewals come out, they will not only need to move 1,000s of SC holders who presently sit in the new away section; but also offer the opportunity to move for those sitting in the blocks near the away section in the East Stand.
I don’t envy the task they have

No chance will people move from their season ticket seats to be offered a place up in the gods. This announcement is to buy time mate. It’s obvious what will happen, it’s now just a question of timing.
It will be interesting to see if they make an announcement after Saturday and then use the WC break to start to facilitate the move? Perhaps, start to offer folk the opportunity to secure a new sit in the PC/NS upper?
Can't buy anything mate, money is banned. This announcement is to buy time mate.
Better than them hoying it off our foreheeds.Harsh on young bairns taking their pocket money off them![]()
That's what should really happen, no point in trying to shoehorn the away fans downstairs and upset the majority of people. And give first refusal to those who were displaced from the PC when it was closed. It's a f***ing massive task. That's why I think they should just start again.
A new home end, a new away end, a new family section etc etc.
SE corner going from the statementI hope so
Might be a canny haul when Fulham and Chelsea play here. The statement says the coins get donated to a charity if the away clubs choice.![]()
Exactly. It was going to take someone being hurt for a single thing to happen which is frankly ridiculousIt’s over 12 weeks since the Coventry fans threw glass bottles etc down and the club didn’t do fuck all. If they did something then the Burnley incident with the kid wouldn’t have happened
Where did i say it was my opinion that "a net wouldn't stop everything". It's says in the statement the supporters group agreed to the decision..what else can that mean??? That they wanted one and the club are lying? Don't think so. Let the club just keep on dragging their feet while fans below run the gauntlet every home game of being injured"Why would supporters group not want a net put up?" were your words. Nothing in that statement suggested the fan groups don't want a net. You've came to that conclusion by yourself.
They're still allowedTinpot
Would you take it somewhere if you'd had prior warning that said venue will confiscate it?Banning coins and vapes is genuinely laughable - my vape cost me about £40 and I'd be expected to just chuck that away
