Australia v England, 2nd Test, 4th December 0400

That's your prediction?

Mine is Aussies win the toss.

More a hope than a prediction.

I think whoever loses the toss and has to bowl first will get off to a good start and take a couple of quick wickets (Crawley & Pope for us, Weatherald & Head for them) but the middle order will calm things down.

Smith & Lasagne will be the usual thorn in our side, or Root & Duckett for us.

Clearly I want us to win, but I’d like to see an actual test match instead of 2 x ODIs.

Ashes cricket will do that to you! You're not the only one mate. I promised myself after the last match not to lose anymore sleep getting up early for these, but I've already set my alarm for 4:30

No predictions from me. Just hope to be more ruthless when we get our noses in front.

I don’t think I’m going to set an alarm. I’ve been up since 4:30 this morning for work anyway so hopefully get an early night and just see what time I wake up.

If it wasn’t for the fact that missing a session is a 6th of a test, or an entire innings, I wouldn’t mind missing the first session😂

Live TV.

Alarm set for 1030. Brekky and Coffee start watching it as live at 11am with my beers. Skip lunch and tea breaks. Be done every ball by 530pm as Live.

Who still watches live TV. Watch the whole day at any time you want.

Life has moved on. Probably still all pay the TV licence as well live tv ers.

Sport is different. Unless you lock yourself in a room with no access to the internet it kills it. I can't think of a single football match, let alone 5 day Test where I have watch start to finish with the ability to already know the score.

My shifts have just changed last minute, and I’m now on nights tomorrow. Will go to bed after our match, get up for the cricket, then have a lovely sleep through the day.
