Australia v England, 2nd Test, 4th December 0400

This ‘plan’ has come about because the bowlers and Carse specifically are completely incapable of bowling the right line and length for any period. It’s been shameful.

The bowling is awful, but are those in reserve any better ?

Do we stick with the ‘first choice’ attack or mix it up for Adelaide ?

i was amazed they preferred him Potts for test cricket, Potts had a decent run at home a couple of years back against NZ then just fell out of favour

He’s been absolutely dreadful in county cricket for 2 years now. Shouldn’t even be on the Lions tour.

Matt Prior is ranting on TNT Sports about the collective effort of England in the field (or lack of it). "They look deflated, where's this wicket going to come from?"

Some untidy wicketkeeping from Jamie Smith to a pretty average run out attempt appears to have upset the ex-England gloveman.

Gus Atkinson unable to offer much. Time for Ben Stokes to bring himself into the attack in a bid to make something happen.

Aussie bowlers were pretty much just as shite, Starc aside.

We had no patience to play him properly and feast off the others.

We set the game up to where it is now cos of the failure of our batsman to score enough runs and gifting their wickets.

Our bowlers just compounding the mistakes of yesterday. Was the same in Perth our bowlers added to the misery the batsman inflicted.
Agree there. Them being shite doesn’t necessarily mean haven’t been though  One thing we’ve totally fucked up is not batting long enough to allow us the new ball at the right time under lights. That’s the main advantage of winning the toss in these day nighters.
