Attendance Thread - Ipswich Town

Sadly not going. The tractor boys fans I know are extremely confident going into this and easily making the play offs. No idea where they are getting this confidence from. Last time they said this was in league 1….. that worked out nicely for them
Generally teams come up and are absolutely rubbish. Do they have a fancy new manager, the new Liam Manning I heard. What else do they have? George Hurst? Word on the street is he's a pile of steaming shite.

Just looked and the only blocks with two seats together are at the front of the North Stand. After that it is the back few rows of the Premier Concourse blocks. I just don’t see why they haven’t open all of the blocks in the ground. From last years experience they will wait until there are less than 200 seats left before they open more blocks and people who don’t want to sit very lowdown or at the back of the PC will hold back from buying until the next blocks are opened.
if we are going to have 40,000 for most games just open up the whole ground from day one.

I think you'll be surprised by the teams coming up this season. Plymouth are no mugs. Sheffield Wednesday are in a mess off the field but generally are capable of results. George Hirst scores goals. He's also young and hungry.

Blackburn and Leicester fans seem to think Hirst is laughably bad. Maybe you've got him firing.

We obviously finished 5th in League 1 but then made a decent fist of things in the Championship. We had players who had done it at be this level before though like Patrick Roberts, Jack Clarke, Danny Batth and Dan Ballard.

The teams that blasted us away in League 1, Rotherham and Wigan, struggled last year because they just didn't have the quality. They were built for League 1.

Plymouth will be strong at home I reckon. As for you whats your starting eleven? Could you give an idea of formation?

Never liked Ipswich always thought their fans think they are something on my visits there.
Norwich far better bunch

First time in years I am looking forward to the season . Considering 2 years ago it was hard for me to get motivated to go to the match . I still went but Jesus it was harder than going on first shift . mates I travelled all over the country with in the 70s and 80s were supporting the lads from the bar . These lads are now going to the match on Sunday to see what the fuss is about . One of them said last night ha way we will do a retro match day and get the bus through . So if you see 8 pissed up 50 - 60 year olds in wranglers and docs on, don’t feel sorry for us just shout Ha Way The gadgies
