I just hope they all behave and don't give you lot any ammunition to slag my club off! Also hope there's a chorus of "Mauled' as that will mean we've done well, although I won't be joining in with that shite

Ham and pease pudding stotty maybe from Gr**gs, or mushy peas with your fish and chips. Proper pub next to the Empire theatre is the Dun Cow. Fantastic architectural features and lots of standard beers plus at least four real ales. The earlier suggestion of the Isis is a good one including food but nothing typically northeastern. Don't go to the Wheatsheaf or Colliery Tavern unless you want shoulder to shoulder drinking standard beers. Endless good pubs 15-20 minutes from the ground.
Thanks. Not for me but good to know. I'm Durham, been going to matches for over sixty years and never come across a pink slice, probably because I don't eat sweet stuff. You must be logged on to see external links
GreggsAny advice on where to eat before the game? Any famous Wearside delicacies I need to try? Never really a fan of the usual stadium fayre
Aye its a regular theme park mate . Just mind you dont step in the Lion shitI really hope Sunderland is as mad as this place makes it sound. I'll be disappointed if it's just a bog standard city with bog standard people![]()

Depends where you’re heading mate, if you’re in the city centre then you have a greggs on every corner, just make sure you pick up a pink slice as previously recommendedAny advice on where to eat before the game? Think they want to save on staffing costs.Just open the lot now, make every seat available bar the crowd control between away fans, everywhere else should be open on the day of a game.

It’s an incredible crowd, again!!!!This, it’s clear a lot have been waiting for the seats in the Premier Concourse. It is a good place to be for the match like, great view and good concourse areas.
Hope we raise the f***ing roof tonight. 40k for a team in 12th in the second tier after 4 seasons in League 1, in a patchy run of form and without a proper strike force. This is why I love SAFC.
Probably going to head to the seafront bit, after stopping off at Greggs for one of these pink slicesSunderland is anything but a bog standard City with standard people![]()

It’s what makes it brilliant.
