Attendance Thread - Blackburn Rovers

Cracking crowd , there were a lot of empty seats mainly SEC / South Stand , must have been a fair few season card holders didn’t bother
Lots come home for Christmas but some of us (SC holders) have to visit family away from the area. I was very bothered.

Loads just have bought tickets then just not turned up , bizarre , unless folk who rely on buses and didn’t realise in strike

There was 5 empty seats next to us in the east stand. There's not been a soul in them all season
There’s a few near me as well. People in them first game but not since and they’re sold on the stadium seating plan so I assume season ticket holders. Their prerogative like.

Was it not the second biggest crowd in the country yesterday?
I don’t think that deserves any negative comments?
The prem concourse was full -atmosphere great -we played well -3 points-late late winner -players and fans delighted ..Simms saying how special the crowd were -young local lad living his dream at half time and getting standing ovation -several beers -great league positions-if Carlsberg did Bank Holidays …..

There’s always exceptions however must say I was surprised to see sections of rows empty
There wasn’t a seat available in the lower bowl on SAFC online yet there were hundreds empty

There's no way for people who live elsewhere in the country who cant make every home game to go to away games, unless they buy a season ticket. Also guarantees Wembley games.

Daughter has season tickets x 3 and goes to Durham Uni. Is home for Christmas (Isle of Man) and it was logistically impossible for any of us to enjoy family Christmas Day together and make the game (esp with k.o time) = 3 empty seats sadly. Easier for us to get theWigan or Blackpool games but no chance of tickets. Still buzzing though.
