Or do both?Charging greatly reduced prices just devalues the product. If you deliver then people will pay the going rate ie win football matches

Opening the poorest seats first is a strange tactic though. They could open the available seats in more central sections.Staff get them
I mean it’s pretty clear as to why they do it like this and work from right to left to make sure they sell blocks first and keep stewarding costs down. Imagine if they opened the whole concourse you might have people a dotted around all over the place and apart from being more expensive it wouldn’t look particularly good either. Also the better seats in the more central sections are priced higher with no concessions meaning regardless of age you’d be paying £35.Opening the poorest seats first is a strange tactic though. Same as when we buy away, block by blockI mean it’s pretty clear as to why they do it like this and work from right to left to make sure they sell blocks first and keep stewarding costs down. All of them? I'm talking about 1k/1.5k or so seats in the Premier Concourse (basically the middle blocks) and in the past when they've opened that area up they've been available to buy. Pretty sure they were put on sale for the Preston game this season.
You sound like the sort of person who wnats success, but wants someone else to pay for it.
You sound like a person who does t know his arse from his elbow and certainly no vision. All of them? As stated thankfully Sir Bob didn’t listen to people like you.
Because Wigan have loads of empty seats doesn’t mean we have to.
You need very stewards up there anywayI mean it’s pretty clear as to why they do it like this and work from right to left to make sure they sell blocks first and keep stewarding costs down. Are you as daft as you sound? As I say, you want a successful team, you want the club to sign good players, but you aren't prepared to pay for it, you think someone else should do it.
Shite attitude tbh but each to their own I suppose.
Are you as daft as you sound?
I’m a season ticket holder for more years than I can remember so have put my money in so less of the ignorant and I’ll informed comments.
The club do a good job with the pricing of tickets however in a cost of living crisis and record child poverty in the NE let’s try and fill those empty seats.
My mate is from a big Newcastle supporting family in Northumberland- he got a chance to go to roker park as a kid and has been a SAFC supporter since putting thousands into the club in the process.
Of course you said you don’t want kids at the match because it will spoil your enjoyment but them kids will be the support in the future.
My point is let’s make it easy for people to come to the Sol through easy booking snd payment options. The more people attend the more strips, programmes and better catering contracts we will get. Momentum.
We have doubled our fan base in 25 years - with a little bit of vision, given the Sol, that number can be added too further particularly in these depressing economic times through helping struggling families to attend.
As stated thankfully sir bob didn’t listen to pessimistic people like you otherwuse we would still be at roker park with gates of 8,000.
Spot on thatAre you as daft as you sound?

8,000 relates to seats at roker park. For someone who is having a pop at genuine SAFC fans who wants to make the club better perhaps you should think on before posting daft comments. When did we ever average 8k at Roker you clown! Why should some people pay less than others to watch the same game from the same stands? Why should those who've paid in for years be expected to pay more to watch Sunderland than people who currently aren't? How do all these extra people who are desperate to watch Sunderland but can't afford to prove they're skint, so are worthy of these £1 tickets?
Listen marra. You've already proven on multiple occasions that you're an idiot but seriously, you don't need to keep reinforcing it to me![]()

You're replying to someone who came about as very maglike recently. You sound like a person who does t know his arse from his elbow and certainly no vision.

@ca8msm can you add P10 to the tracker when you get a chance pleaseP10 open
Thanks for letting me know. He certainly doesn’t sound like he is a Sunderland supporter as I’m trying to educate pork. You're replying to someone who came about as very maglike recently.
Jog on mag. You're literally advocating letting people who currently don't go, and were nowhere to be seen during the League One days turn up for next to nowt whilst everyone else has to pay full price to subsidise them. You've said it yourself, there's an economic crisis and we're all feeling the pinch. Some people are already making lifestile sacrifices to get to games now. What's stopping them not renewing and picking up one of these £1 tickets for next season instead?
As I've said before, there's a reason why neither our club, nor any other, offers £1 tickets en masse. Shame you're too stupid to see why that is as it would have saved a lot of hassle!
