It seems there's a few running gags in this. Am I right in thinking it'll be best to listen to them in chronological order?
I listened to the first two when they came out and thought they were shit so never bothered after that til about episode 15.

You probably do need to listen chronologically but it gets better and better so stick with it. It goes from being conversational to a bit of a sketch show and both are good but the recent episodes are class.

The McClaren stories are still the best imo but he hasn't done any in a while

Sorry like, I love bob but his genius doesn’t detract from vic’s brilliance, they were meant to work together and have been the most influential comedy duo in history, in my opinion.
I love them but at best you could only say they were in the top 10 or 20. How would you even compare them with Abbot & Costello, Laurel & Hardy, The 2 Ronnies, Rik Mayal & Ade Edmonson, Morecambe & Wise, and particularly Reece Shearsmith & Steve Pemberton.

They're all products of their ages, when comedy meant different things. They're all quoted by many as being huge influences on the next generations.
