Ashes 5th test - Sydney

5 ODI's (with a warm up game after the 1st international, obviously) and 3 T20s, finish in February

Just looking at the schedule and we play 3 ODI's in the West Indies staring before the end of February? What the hell is the point of them? The T20s I can understand as they're warm ups before the t20 world cup but is it any wonder players are getting burnt out? I doubt there'll be many first teamers (whoever they are now) in those 3 games

It's a load of bollocks mate. Whatever happened to the sensible method of playing all formats as part of a tour.

As a side note, I'd also be a fan of playing the sloggy (sic) format first - with the Test Matches (the important stuff) being left til last.

Is that lass in the blue dress up the duff or just packed in?

More grass on the pitch than Nigella Lawson's kitchen, muggy and humid, surely the decision to bowl was the right one, at least?

When was the last time K.P bowled in a test match?

Also I wonder what odds you would have got for this being the team for the 5th test at the start of the series!

To lose 5-0 to this Aussie team, has to go down as one if not the most embarrassing test score line in the last 20 years.

Has to go down as THE worst. Is this the worst Australia side we've ever lost to?

Just remembered as well in a moment of drunken bliss, I won 35 quid on a footy accumulator and in blind faith stuck it on England to win this test.

Got 5/1 on it.

Bloody hell man.

Are they using this test to raise awareness for the McGrath foundation? Noticed the pink stumps and a few other pink bits.

What's Gower said?

Onions just tweeted something saying he will be in bother

he said "he or she is very small" about a child during the line ups who happens to be Brad Haddin's daughter who is very ill apparently
