If he qualified as U21 I think we might have been tempted but he misses out by a few weeks for next season I think. He would take an overseas slot and I think we will be saving spare slots for more guaranteed starters.

It does but probably not for a player that is unlikely to start. I think LCB, RW and a more obvious Xhaka understudy will be prioritised to go to overseas players.
I think we have Roefs, Elborg, Hume, Mukiele, Alderete, Reinildo, Xhaka, Sadiki, Diarra, Le Fee, Angulo, Isidor and Brobbey filling slots at present plus potentially Geertruida so have to get maximum impact from our remaining overseas slots.

I doubt we will go for Archie Brown , he is good going forward but defensively weak. RLB doesn't like wingers who are defensively weak so a fullback with the same flaws has no chance of signing for us IMO

At 21 years old, it would be ideal to sign him and bed him in slowly next season, preparing to take over from Sadiki leaving or a Xhaka drop off a year from now. It's exactly the kind of signing we would make imo.

Why would Sadiki be leaving ???

We do, just don’t think he’s one. Xhaka, Sadiki, Le Fee, Diarra and Rigg will hopefully all still be here so one more to be Xhaka understudy is certainly needed.
