Just looked at the scorecard and looks a good game at Cardiff. Glammy 78/0 hopefully catch last 20 overs on the stream.
Glamorgan 180/3 off 30 overs. Definitely favourites to win.
Glamorgan now 182/5 off 31. Game on. Glammy looking nervous.

I’ve seen quite a few people suggest Garton as someone for the test team because he’s fast and left arm. Looks at best 85mph and getting twatted around by David Willey here, doesn’t look that impressive to me.
 
Chris Benjamin who has just signed a 3 year deal at Warwickshire has scored a hundred on his championship debut.
He has just completed his 3 year degree course at Durham uni and played against us in 2019. However due to covid only played one more first class match for his university.

I think the issue is because of covid he didn't play any of the university games against counties in 2020 or 2021 and as he is South African he will be unknown on the junior circuit. Also didn't play club cricket in this region during his university days
Looks sadly like there was a real talent unattached to a county right under our noses but unfortunately he wasn't able to play any cricket to show off his talent especially that warm up match before the county season starts.

Didn’t feature in One Day Cup and has only played two 2nd Xi games since end of Blast on 2nd July. Has only played two first class games in his career, both for Durham in 2019.

Hard to see a future for him in county cricket from here.
Good to see Yorkshire turning the screw against Hampfrica. The hosts have prepared a hideous pitch.

It appears Steel has fell out with Paul Nixon. The reason not clear but one of the Leicestershire fans suspects he came to them on the promise of regular cricket in all formats and it hasn't worked out as planned. Attempts to loan him out have not been successful.
