Are the experts calling it?

Think we will be fine but Leeds, West Ham and Forest are all decent think itll be a really high points tally this season compared to the past decade.
What about:
Fulham
Everton
Newcastle
Bournemouth
Brighton
Tottenham
Crystal Palace

All below us?

Good to get a solid win after the shock of that West Ham performance. We can now look up the table and join the scrap for the 7th and 8th place Cup :)

I'm really looking forward to seeing how Brobbey does against Arsenal and Liverpool , hopefully we'll have too much for Oxford United and then maybe Xhaka back for the run-in ?

Leeds maybe fizzling out already.
Dont be suprised if there is a sudden plumit by one of the teams above, not us like.
As much as Leeds have suddenly taken off they still only have 1 win in last 6. As for ones a bit further up Palace look the most likely to have problems if the others form continues

Whats that got to do with my post? I said we will be fine. But I also think the main 3 battling for 17th will make a good go of it and wouldnt be surprised to see 40 points needed.

To be absolutely clear I think we will be comfortably safe. I ALSO think itll be a really competitive battle for 17th compared to previous seasons.

I'm agreeing with you... just adding in 7 more teams that we would have to drop below before we even get to the relegation spots!

Woltemade all but sealed it really, getting a big win on the board just before the players going to afcon, then the point against Man City basically did seal it. It should have been clear then the squad was good enough to continuing getting results and already had a clear gap over relegation zone.

Any relegation fears since, perhaps peaking when WHU were 2 up at Chelsea, were more about the “wouldn’t it be typical if…” psyche of a long suffering fan-base. Content makers on the relegation battle have long since stopped mentioning us.

After the loss to the Hammers, we shortened to 50-1 / 60-1 range but now it's back to 150-1 for relegation odds.

Fat lady has finished her song and exited the stage.

We’re not going down and we will finish top half. For us to go down would mean a spectacular loss of form and pretty much every team below us start winning games. It’s prob gonna be the bottom three who go down unless West Ham put together a good run.
