We’re pretty much bowling with 3 seamers, a la Edgbaston. Game is gone because he’s been shite - if we knew he was only going to bowl mid-80’s I suspect another bowler would’ve been a better pick.

Think its a bit f***ing much to get on his case, personally. He's 24 and has bowled like a world-beater for two tests and a World Cup. Inevitable he's going to have off days, all young seamers do.
Fact that we're basically pinning our hopes almost entirely on him, Broad and Stokes is indicative of how poor a team we are, really.
Pitch is flat as a f***ing pancake mind, offering nothing other than turn. Weather isn't great tomorrow, so we should bat until Sunday night at least and hobble our way to the Oval. They'll not be making any aggressive declerations after last match, that's for sure!
