Arcadia Group

The group were in trouble for a long time before COVID. They need £30m to keep going while Green is sitting on his £100m yacht. He is a billionaire who has found a way to off load loss making businesses which made him rich on the backs of his workers, at a time when he can blame others for his failure and at the same time hide his greed.

Really can't imagine them being missed. Seem to belong to a different era

Top Shop, DP, Burton. Probs 20 yrs since I ventured in any of em

Disclaimer: I didn't really used to shop in Dorothy Perkins

Hopefully he falls off it, the vile little varnished warthog.

Why do people seem to get pleasure out of Arcadia going tits up? Yeh Green is a twa t but seen today loads of flippancy about it with loads of "they were in trouble before covid" as if that makes it ok, a lot of retail was but being forced to close for 5 months or so doesnt help. Look at the effect on businesses which were doing well before Covid and some of the losses they've made.
