I agree bit only because he got my team where he did . Johnson had some big wins too . Gutted he's leaving but the story was just starting so who knows what we'd all think at Xmas
 
He is great appointment for you lot—shame for us. I think, if we could have hung on to him, he had the potential to be the best manager I've seen at our club. I'm including Reid in this. He just seemed to get us. I am gutted and absolutely seething at the same time. The manner in which he's dropped us is awful. If I'm in the ground when you visit, I'm going to give the guy 90 minutes of shit.
 
He has lost a lot of credibility in this, his image is massively damaged now to lots in the football world surely compared to the how he came to us and got us rocking again. Surely with that bit of shine off him and more questions around him he won't manage to create anything at Stoke like he has at Sunderland.

If it's purely about a bigger contract/money that we will give him then I'd be slightly worried about his reasons for coming - but who knows!
He may well be what we need as we have a very good squad potentially who should be challenging - but we've been absolute dog shite for the last 5 years!!
I feel for you though. Bizarrely, this was how we felt when Steve Cotterill left us many years ago to become Assistant Manager for you guys for those of you who remember that. Football eh!!!

I remember that just like yesterday. No hard feeling from me, you have a class manager who will defo turn you around but he is a total shitface who may fuck you lot over in te future.
