Anyone not wanting Europe?

Fuck that gerrus there man.

I certainly won't be all doom and gloom if we don't make it, as there's definitely an argument in an ideal world it could be a year or two too soon, but fuck that man you never know which game is going to be your last, so lets just beat Chelsea and see what happens.

Can't believe some think the club don't want it. Of course they do.

The players have all made posts the last 24 hours about one final push. They know whats on offer and they want it.

No two games in Football are the same but I cannot see any way in which we don't win Chelsea on Sunday. The crowd will be loudest of all season, we've just played two games off the back in the most outstanding way. If they go into this final game with that mindset it’s ours.
Nerrrr man what Xhaka and co. don’t get that if we get Europe, the club will only have a 70% spending cap instead of 85%. Put me passport away sharp as owt as soon as I heard that…

…….

Can't believe I'm asking this but there's a few lads in work this morning saying we shouldn't be looking to win on Sunday as if we qualify for europe it all but guarentees relegation next year...

Just wondering if anyone shares the same opinion? For me it's a no brainer, opportunities like this don't come around often and we should be snapping the hands off it.

Anyone not wanting europe?

The mags

Forest finished 7th last season, looking like 15th/16th this season with roughly 20 less points. Palace 12th last season, probably 15th/16th this season with around 10 less points.

If we qualify for Europe then a drop off in the league next season is possible/likely - the moaners will need to get their heads around that. Personally would snap your hand off for a European campaign, would be class. If we don't make it then hardly the end of the world either - it's why I'm pretty relaxed about Sunday.

You could point to some mitigating circumstances for both of those to be fair. Though I do agree we'd find it harder to replicate this season's form.

I am optimistic, but with how we got through AFCON period, different injuries, and pretty frequent system changes, I’m not scared of Europe. I think we’ve shown to have a bigger squad and be more flexible than Palace and Forest and they figured it out eventually. I know there will be changes over the summer, but with the faith I have in recruitment I think we will be more than fine.

I am not bothered. The European tournaments dont seem to carry as much wieght as they used to. I don't fancy playing in Europe and ending up playing Colwyn Bay.

Let’s get there, then it’s upto KLD/ghisolfi to give Reggie a squad he can compete in with both. We might not get this chance for years again

Worth it just to see Luke going from non-league to L2 to L1 to Championship to PL to Europe. Not many players will have done that

And he's sure to get sent off in at least one match to complete the set.

I think some of our older players that have previously played CL and EL (three basically) won't be too bothered personally but the thing is would they go and ask not to travel for a game in Armenia on a Thursday night.Tbf they shouldn't be needed until the last 8 anyway."if" that were to happen and theyre then struggling in the PL then the botha starts.

I'm a be jittery about it myself. Its on my bucket list to see us play in a competitive european match away from home but if its at the expence of our clubs progress I wouldn't mind waiting a year or two more. I'm not sure if we are in a strong enough place to support a much larger squad and doubt our support will have the finance to support the extra games as a great number of them can't afford or be arsed to support the club for home domestic cup matches, so why would they support european games against clubs most of us won't have heard of? I think Kyril has done magnificent things for the club, and long may it continue, but I feel at the moment it may stretch the club in its present position a little to far. But gift horse in the mouth and all that and who knows? HTL,FTM.

I know some who said the same thing when we made the play offs 'too soon for the Prem' etc.

Well we got over that hurdle, some players made the step up who we thought wouldn't, Le Bris proved astute enough and our recruitment has been exceptional.

Back them to do it again I say.
