Would £500 or less get you a reasonably for filming?

Not wanting 4K but 1080 hd would be a must.

You used to be able to get a decent DJI for roughly that amount a year and a half back, not sure on costings now mind. Think it was a phantom we had.

Edit: this was it

Get yourself a syma. Cheap as chips and great to fly, good practice.

That is just an example and I don't recommend the seller etc, I just googled the latest sales.

Have a look at the DJI Spark, not sure how much they cost but DJI are the boys. Got myself a Mavic Pro a little while back, pricey at a shade under £1k but worth every penny imo and if you can stretch that far would thoroughly recommend it.

We use a DJI Inspire at work for doing exterior building inspections. I'm not licensed to fly it (we operate on a military/commercial airfield) so I don't know much about it's handling but the picture and video quality is outstanding.

DJI Spark with extra batteries & remote. Bit more than £500 but it’s decent. Love mine.
Edit: looks like they’ve come down in price. Def get the fly more pack tho. Each battery only lasts 10 mins.
