Any changes for the 3rd Test

It’ll be Bethell in tbh Pope has never really been a baz ball profile player

I mean you could argue if he’s ever been a player at all

All this euphoria over Barry Bargains cheap version of cricket has finally found out the Shambles of the English game . Worse still the Aussies are better at it .and the next generation of possible international cricketers seemingly look bewildered and baffled 🥺

It’s not necessarily a change in personnel that’s needed, it’s a complete change in mindset.
Bring in Australian bowling/batting coaches for ashes tours, or at least coaches who know how to play in these conditions and on these pitches.
It’s too easy for Australia when England come over here making the same mistakes tour after tour and with the mentality they have and the complete lack of preparation & application

Not really many changes we can realistically make. The lions are getting an absolute battering so it’s hard to push for the inclusion of any of them.

Pope is the only one in the firing line you’d suspect but then how on earth can we pick Bethell on little more than vibes.

Agree with what’s already been said. It’s less about personnel change, and more about completely shifting mentality. 2 changes for me:

Crawley, Duckett, Bethell, Root, Brook, Stokes, Smith, Jacks, Atkinson, Archer, Tongue/Potts
