Any changes for 2nd Test 🤔

It’s a function of the way he bowls, his front leg takes huge strain. He’s hardly got a smooth action where the pace comes from the wrist
Pace comes from the wrist and yet he hasn’t had any wrist injuries that we know of 🤷‍♂️

It’s his back, knees and ankles that are taking the strain and unfortunately aren’t up to the task.

It’s such a shame as he seems to be a great bloke but his body cannot be trusted to last 5 days

I see James Rew once again did James Rew things in the 2 day game. 92 runs, 123 ball, lots of controlled aggression.

Now we'll see his chances of getting selected under the current leadership soar from 0% to 0%.

I'm confident that with that sensible adjustment our top 6 can be consistently effective.
I disagree.
You can't just become a great red ball cricketer because someone says "play more sensibly".
They will make the same basic mistakes whether they are playing T20 or Boycott style.
Could even post a worse total if they leave 20 balls then get themselves out, rather than a few wild boundaries first.
All worth it if we lose in three days rather than two maybe

In form, take the gloves even, bump Snith to 6, Stokes at 8 as 4th seamer
That’s not a bad shout that mind.

At least that way as a debut he will be down the order to give him time to bed in.

Two many new batsman are given a debut high up the order and then struggle immediately
