Anthony Gordon

He’s a superb footballer. Great close control, direct, difficult to defend against, wins free kicks. End product could be better but he’s a quality player

Doesn’t he normally come on once howe has bored the opposition into a coma?
They’re garbage to watch mind
True, but I imagine sponsorship deals in the summer will mean they have a lot more leeway in terms of FFP.
They have to prove market value for anything over 1.5m in sponsorship. They can’t do a Man City

They got a sleeve sponsor worth about 7.5 million (6th or 7th highest in league and substantially higher than anyone not in the big 6) last summer. Shirt sponsorship will be easily approved at like £30 million a year, possibly higher if they get into Europe.

Plus there are plenty of brown envelopes to grease the wheels of there are any sticking points.

The lad is 21 and already a premier league regular. Chelsea was going to pay 60 million for him so I think we have a fair deal and it may look like a bargain if Eddie Howe can get his potential honed.
He’s hardly a regular. He’s not started a game since Boxing Day. And Chelsea are paying way over the odds for players.

i stand by my comment, Everton have had you over for £45 mill.

I assume you’re a mag. Just joined to talk on this thread?

I’ve got no doubt there’ll be inflated deals. But there’s a hell of a lot more scrutiny than Man City had. You’re not gonna get 400m for sponsorship like they had.

Your last point, you honestly think there’s fraudulent deals between NUFC and the premier league employees?

I think we're going to get a bargain going by the ridiculous transfer idiocy already within football.
Why?
I absolutely trust in what Eddie and those at the club are doing and also from seeing Gordon for Everton.
What he's done since boxing day is of no relevance to me because he's been struggling like hell in a terrible setup of an outfit and likely lost form or had something to say about it.

The lad can be a dick and a wind-up on the pitch but he's 21 and can easily be a gem to be rather than an issue.
Only time will tell but I'm confident we have a cracking player who will get better under Howe.

Aye mate, goals being when the ball crosses the line between the posts and assists are when you pass the ball to someone who puts it over the line.
NUFC career:
98 appearances.
12 Goals.
16 Assists

Hmmm….prolific 🙄

He’s a show pony like Adama Traore….except he IS better than HIM.

They'll still say they've spent nowt. Fair enough if have the means to buy your success but at least own it.
All clubs buy their success or failure.
Well Leicester will want about £100m given how much you've wasted on Gordon get back to thinking the earth is flat you gonk
We'll likely pay 50 with maybe add-ons.
He'll never come to us for 100 million and I wouldn't want him for that. but it's not down to me.
