Anthony Gordon

Thought they were going to sign Messi and Mbappe y’knar.

Trying to flog Gordon and Isak.

Takeover not everything they thought it’d be, if Ashley was doing this there’d be hell on.
Looks like the mags are loosing shit at the rumour of both

Don’t they need to sell someone by the end of the weekend or risk a points deduction? 😂😂😂
Seen various figures bandied about but 40m seem to the most referred to

A mag I know is adamant they still get champions leagues residuals this year

He is in the mix, but not everyone can start

Probs have Palmer ahead in pecking order

FCUK me, in the time between Gordon’s fairly unimpressive England caps and now, some people appear to think he’s turned into a world class player. I know we’re weak right down our left side but I think fans might be putting too much hope in him being the answer. Foden is a good example of how even exceptional young players (which Gordon isn’t) can find the step up to international football difficult.

Yeah but, Gordon’s been Englands best player of the tournament cos he played 1 pass that was the greatest pass of all time. Nevermind that his first touch he just ran it straight out of play.

Why are they shocked, they have spent about half a billion on transfers fees alone and hardly brought 2p back in

Thy don’t seem to realise that the owners wealth can only provide enough cash. The new rules pretty much stop them taking this piss. They had a ton of wiggle room when the Saudis first took over thanks to Ashley being very good with the books. They maxed that FFP/PSR room out almost immediately.

They are thick as f**k. Football would be even more of a joke than it already is with teams just playing to see who has the most cash.
Some spin there

It'll be spot on. Clever little sportswashing technique to keep the fans onside.
