So sorry Janey as with many in here we have lived part of your dads journey with you. No doubt he will be upstairs sorting out the big mans teletext to ensure he’s getting the safc scores.

I’ve sat and held his hand since Saturday morning, we lost him at 1.07 this morning.
I’m so glad for him, his deterioration was sudden in the end, he was canny on Friday, but it was awful these last 3 days watching him.
I’m heartbroken. My daddy my hero
So sorry for you and your family Janey xx

Awww no, I'm so sorry Janey  you must be absolutely devastated. Thinking of you and your Mam.
Your happy memories of him will bring comfort in the future & I'm sure he will be looking down watching over you both.
Keep cheering the lads on from up there Janey's Dad xx

Not much I can say Janey to make it any better but those of us who have been there with a parent will know to some degree how you are feeling. You do however have some lovely shared memories of a close father daughter relationship. I still think of my dad fondly, the memory doesn't fade....and he was a mag!
