It did feel like Alex Neil was never fully committed to us why he wasn't no one really knows at the moment, it could be any number of reasons.
Neil is arrogant. Mentioned this the other day. He’s done an excellent job but has an aloofness. He’ll be the same at Stoke
And at the same time stating he knows the way the club are going. Weve signed older players as well.

No manager is bigger than the club, we can't change for him. The club have to make sure the new man is fully committed to the way we're heading.

That’s going to be incredibly difficult. If Neil is asked why he left and mentions the recruitment / roles it’ll be hard bringing in a reputable coach that is willing to work as an underling who’s opinion may be overlooked.

The players are going to feel massively let down that a manger they all seem to love was offered a poor contract and walked away. It just seems like we could have avoided this whole scenario by being proactive with a very good contract. He had earned it.

probably offering Stewart a Zero hour contract as we speak.

He’s managing a squad that currently sits 5th with more players coming in…if he thinks he can’t manage that squad then that’s on him and his confidence as a manager…it’s not the clubs responsibility to spend more money then what the club can afford. If he can’t handle that then fuck right off…I can’t see how the club is at fault at all…

You keep making the point about money. No-one else has.

They did though, didn't AN say that he wanted the rolling contract as it suited him?

Mint, lose our manager and now lose the morale of the squad in a matter of hours

At least we've still got the "continuity" of Speakman, to sign players this week for a manager we don't yet know, and a formation we can't yet guess.

This is the "beauty" of the continuity "model", so I'm told. It's the value of denying managers the right to build their own squads.

Not really sure what the club have done wrong in this one. Contracts mean Jack shit frankly and if he’s decided he wants to go then let him. We can move on and get a better option in.
This.
If he’s gone today then he’s been on this for a while…at least last weekend.
Add to that, his missus lives there.

I just don’t like that he’s telling the players shit. It unsettles them. And it reeks of cheating.

Haway man, If they had that much disposable with FFP and what not they wouldnt have appointed the string of shite they have in recent years.

The bottom line is were absolutely pathetic in the boardroom and he’s left because of that reason.
People are absolutely blind man. Defend the club till the cows come home.
