He’s been very subtly saying for a while that he’s not content with recruitment. As Johnson did last season also by the way. Neil is better than him and is wanted and has fucked off at the first opportunity partially as a result of that.

We have to get the blend right with this recruitment of young players otherwise this will be a repeated problem.

Don’t care if his Mrs is Sarah Stokeston McStokie. IF.. he’s left us like this then he’s let the fans, players and indeed himself down. Leaving day before a game dropping up right in the shit for a never has been club just cos his wife is some granny prosie who like 2 in the shitter from ugly bald men, is well out of order
 
It did feel like Alex Neil was never fully committed to us why he wasn't no one really knows at the moment, it could be any number of reasons.

Stoke haven't spent a penny this summer. Does that strike you as a club that has more money to spend than us?

I know their owners are billionaires when extremely rich, but everything I have heard about that club is that they're in trouble of failing FFP and can't spend much full stop.
