It’s one thing Allardyce leaving us to take charge of England, that was fair enough.

If Neil is leaving to go to Stoke though, I’m sorry but he can get fucked. Sideways step to a club that struggle to spend money.

If he goes to stoke its because theyve offered him a shit load of money

They cant even spend out because of ffp

From the sodding Athletic

Alex Neil, ’s head coach, is currently taking training at the club’s Academy of Light — but expectation is growing on Wearside that he is likely to depart to fill the vacancy at .
That says nowt about what The Athletic expect.

Are the Athletic usually reliable with you?

I just don't get it. I'm as passionate and partisan as they come with Stoke, but equally respectful to other clubs and would like to think astute enough to realise the potential of both of our clubs. I just don't see what's in it for him to leave you for us?

Preston years ago with respect I could see, but not this move.

Wouldn’t blame him if he did leave. The useless pricks in positions of power at our club don’t know their arse from their elbow.

Must be quite disconcerting to have meetings with the Napoleon Dynamite/Robyn Arryn hybrid and his band of merry men.

Usually, yes. They broke the story Keane turned us down.

Extremely reliable unfortunately. If he does leave, yous have got yourselves a great manager. We'll probably know by 2pm if he turns up for his press conference or not.

Ownership structure would be my guess. We've banged the drum about sustainability for ages, rightly so given our financial issues of recent years, but he probably has more ambition than that. We've spent money, but on prospects with potential value rather than for immediate impact
