Right now Id snap your hand off for just avoiding relegation. This squad is limited, essentially the same that got humped 6-0 by Bolton in League 1. Neil has worked wonders building togetherness and playing beyond their ability. I totally believe it was an emotional goodbye, and that the players made their feelings known to the board. He had built something from nothing here.

Granted I haven't seen your games apart from away at Sheffield United but your results and that performance tells me you have more than enough to avoid the drop.

Well my friend he is yours now. What do you think? If I take away my disappointment he is a good manager. So. Play-offs?

The owners were quite clear in their requirements this season as a Meet the Board night in the summer. Top 6. That's the pressure Neil will be under from day one.

The new owners and board have had 1 full season in charge and got us promoted. They have been excellent in the transfer market and only appointed one manager to date who was a success.

Why all the negativity now. Players and managers are going to come and go, it's how they respond that's crucial.

So far they've done an excellent job, so what's not to say they're going to continue to do that.

After the Coventry game Neil was getting pelters for his tactics and subs, now he's irreplaceable.

We'll be fine man!
Winners don’t take drugs mate.

In what way? Has no manager ever left after signing a contract?

That's not what I'm saying. Less managers leave when they're on a long contract, because that costs compensation. Saying a contract means nothing is daft.

Had he been on a long term decent contract, we could have told stoke to go away.

We couldn’t “tell them to go away”. They are unlikely to have been put off by an extra £1m on his fee either.
