Downie saying he’s left because the club haven’t backed him……

Absolute shambles. Tbf they haven’t. We’ve signed three players in reality. We’ve only kept the players we had last season

I think this comes down to a few things. One is what Neil is saying about transfers because I think the goalposts have been shifted and other is because he’s got better terms and conditions but won’t be able to say that.

I’m concerned about the first part, he can fuck off for the second.

Why is he saying he wasn't backed? You've spent money we could only dream of so far in this window (FFP restrictions). Is he saying he didn't want the players you've brought in? They seem to be Neil type players from his time at Preston etc?
Well my friend he is yours now. What do you think? If I take away my disappointment he is a good manager. So. Play-offs?

It's disappointing, he got us promoted but for balance -

His tactics in the 2nd half v Coventry were awful, game management against QPR was shambolic, first half v Stoke was dreadful, first half v Sheff Utd was a shit show and Bristol City could have gone either way.

The play off and Wembley were great and thanks for that but we move on.

Nobody is bigger then SAFC.
We’re hardly going to dominate every match

I’ll have some of what you are smoking please.

Just read that he's left because they failed to back him in the transfer market.

You know what, pretty much every manager doesn't get what they want in the transfer market, but so far I think it's been OK for us. Couple more in and we should be set.

Thanks for getting us promoted, but a pretty short term and poor attitude to the club and fan base if you ask me. Imagine his reputation in 5 months if we were doing well and his worth then.
