An apology from me

I’d just like to state, to start with, I can still post things on this message board without being the official voice of SO37.

My comments earlier were OTT and I didn’t mean to offend anyone.

When I posted my thread, we’d just pulled a goal back when we were down to 10. 99% of the away end we’re going mental.

I was stood amongst a group, who told me they didn’t want to sing. They literally didn’t clap after we scored.

We are going to suffer set backs like we did tonight, and at least having people who will clap the lads will help.

I don’t think I’m a better fan than anyone. There’s been many times where I’ve stood there in shock at how bad we’ve been. I thought tonight was the time to get behind the team.

Again, apologies. I’m not a better fan than anyone. Our remit is to improve the atmosphere. That goes for away matches too, but what I said tonight went too far.

Haway the lads.

It was a very distasteful post to make. When I go to away matches I don't sing, my little un does. Its just not for me.

Takes a man with balls to apologise for it though so fair play.

I was surprised to see a group not even clap when we scored and looked like getting back into the game.

What I said about “purging” the away support was totally OTT and posted in the emotion of the match. I was wrong and if possible, I take those comments back.

Aye its weird they wouldn't clap I have to say. I do still jump up cheer and scream when we score, I'm not that boring.

Don't worry about the comments, mistakes happen. Ask Dan Neil.
