Amad today.

Amad: 2 goals, 3 assists in 30 matches (2,166 mins played - 1 goal contribution per 433mins) - 23yr old

Talbi: 4 goals, 2 assists in 27 matches (1,534 mins played - 1 goal contribution per 255mins) - 21yr old

Fair to say Talbi is having a better season than him so far… still I’d love to see Amad back as he would solve our issues on the right.

He’s probably coming off disappointed with his performance. Look if he’s scored and United are 2-0 up he claps the fans coming off no doubt. He can’t win in that situation as if he claps the Sunderland fans he will get stick off the United fans. He made the right call and clapped at the end of the game imo. He’s stated plenty times his affection for Sunderland, he needs a move, we need a right winger, could the stars align finally?

He’d develop faster in a team like ours where he is getting more game time.

Quite right that we applauded him. He did a fantastic job for us and we should be proud that we are so welcoming of our previous players. It’s a class act.

Makes my skin crawl the way our fans go on about ex players. Proper psycho ex girlfriend vibes.
It's funny people being upset he didn't clap while being subbed playing for the team that pays him after being completely smothered by Rei. Save that till after the game, I'd hope if we signed someone from a prem side that he'd also wait till after the game, especially if they played shit

Not having a great season but he had a good league record for them last year, 8 goals and 8 assits in 26 games.

If we get the chance to get him it would be a quality buy.

IF we can get Amad (I don't think we will) and keep the rest of our midfield together for at least one more year, we could have our midfield and attack line up like this:

-------------------Xhaka------------------------
-----------Sadiki--------Le Fee----------------
Amad-------------------------------------Talbi
-----------------Brobbey-----------------------

With the likes of Angulo, Ta Bi, Rigg & Diarra waiting to come in.

That's some lineup.
