Amad Diallo

Why do our fans always estimate players values like its still 2005? The lad isn't 21 until the summer and is already lightyears ahead of players at this level. An average PL player now is circa 30 million. On what planet would Diallo be less than that?
It’s not 2005 mate… it’s Sunderland rates

Thought that was his first not so great game in the last ten games or so and then he does that at the end

He's some player like. I didn't expect him to be as good as he's showed he can, the way him and Roberts link up together at times is filth.

Will be gutted when he returns to Man Utd.

What an incredible player he is. He will go on to have a brilliant career at the top level.

He’s one of the best players to have played for us, relative to the league we’re in anyways. Championship is way too easy for him.
Yup…Like I said will be loaned out to a Crystal Palace for example next year or a squad player at Man Utd

Let’s hope he stays in January as he has improved so much since his first game for us. Looks a real talent and first on team sheet at the moment for me

I agree with this, he’s a fantastic player, his goal was incredible, however he did try and do too much today, forced a lot and was ok for 75 minutes.

Controversial opinion, but I thought McClean did very well against him until we made the subs. Him & Roberts link up so well, looked like they were just pissing about in training playing keep ball.

I’m genuinely concerned that Utd could recall him .

Not sure it's worth it for them. Sancho and Antony on the right, Bruno, Eriksen and van de Beek centrally and Rashford and Garnacho off the left. Elanga there as another option for those three roles.

I can't imagine they'd think it's in their best interest to have him come back and be in and out the squad when he could have another five months being first choice here.

The only way he could be back here next season is if we were promoted and Man United would be keen for him to be playing PL football. Potentially another loan.

Wasn’t at his best tonight but showed that glimpse of class with the goal and was immense once Roberts linked up with him.

Said it last week best player we’ve had since Sess

Is the same envelope as Sess and Malbranque. Great player even though he wasn’t at his best tonight

I thought the same. But he did light up in the closing stages, when Dajaku came on and freed Roberts to move across from the left. The understanding with Roberts and Neil seemed to instantly pick up again from what we'd seen on Boxing Day.

Mad to think how poor he was at rangers (and how underwhelmed we were when he signed on loan).

Far to good for the championship but he would struggle in a lower premiership team playing more defensive and 10 men behind the ball. He suits playing on a frontfooted team same as roberts
