I Told You I Was Ill
Midfield
Seems like we've got some proper leaders back in charge of the club.
Hope they deliver, it's been a positive start.

Im more bothered about fannies being offended on their behalf. Correct who cares about them when we have positivity, so out of all of the positives in that interview, you were the one that came out with one perceived negative. The overall positivity seemed to have passed you somewhat. The mags were the first thing on your mindYou’re clearly more bothered about this than I am. Not being a fanny at all, just don’t think they were needed to be mentioned that’s all. Who gives a fuck about them when we have so much positivity atm.
A great read and one that any self respecting Sunderland fan could not get behind, Ha'way the Lads.
So it’s always been a club that I’ve been somewhat fond of from an early age — for some reason I’ve always had an antipathy towards Newcastle. I mean that wasn’t a determining factor in this, but it does mean I’ve always had a slight soft spot for Sunderland because I’ve always found Newcastle to be a rather arrogant club.
I think it’s a worry that they haven’t got a structure and by the sounds of it, no plans to either. It’s a multi million pound company with no structure other than them 2 doing things on the hoof. That’s a concerncracking that
sounds like they have the drive to take us forward
we have been coasting along for far too long ! people in top positions were just picking up huge salaries, whilst not giving a toss
I like this idea, the badge on the front is looking dilapidated as well, so a good chance to get ridI would love to see the ticket office turned into a boozer and the focal point of a fan zone.
How long is it since we’ve had good spin and PR?
The guy is an expert in his field but also seems very shrewd. If he can capture the safc fan base so quickly, what will he be able to do inside the world of football business to grow how we are seen?
Very true. It's something I've often wondered about. Geographically we're only a few miles apart, but with regard to the aspects you mentioned we may as well be on separate continents. It's inexplicable and reflects badly on the region as a whole.Newcastle have this fragile monstrous ego that means it's never enough for them to be doing well, everyone around them has to be doing badly. You see it in the media, in local politics, and definitely among their triggered, emotionally damaged football supporters. They can't bear anyone else to have a moment of success, it makes them so bitter they can't enjoy anything they have going for them. They're the Donald Trump of football.
If we start winning games this coming season they're going to lose their shit. About results in league 1. They're an absolute basket case
I couldn’t be more optimistic with everything they’ve said so far tbh, just thought the bit about Newcastle being an arrogant club (which I agree with!) wasn’t needed when were on this high at the minute. They wernt on my mind at all until they were mentioned.Im more bothered about fannies being offended on their behalf. ...at the very least ALS scored a pizza and some beers. Could be worse... silver liningsHope they deliver, it's been a positive start.
He doesn't quite say that though. He said other people will have the structure, but they often make decisions on the hoof.
Fair dos, but it has to be taken into context. He’s an outsider who needs to ingratiate himself with us, even from a business point of view. He mentions them in passing, but the whole of the interview was full of positivity, the fact that he calls them arrogant doesnt devalue the overall sentiment. I honestly couldnt give a rats arse if he ruffled a few of their feathers. We have been miles behind them in the PR stakes and this bloke is a breath of fresh air.I couldn’t be more optimistic with everything they’ve said so far tbh, just thought the bit about Newcastle being an arrogant club (which I agree with!) wasn’t needed when were on this high at the minute. He's very good and the stuff about the Acadamy was music to my ears but I can't help but feel something is going to smack us in the face at some point.
Fuck offComplete and utter cringe pandering to the masses that's why.
I can see through it though.
Go on, lap it all up.....there's a good lad.![]()
Succinct and to the pointFuck off
He is, and so is Donald, and I can’t wait for next season already if we’re going to have the crowds back and a bit of optimism. As I’ve said I’m loving everything they’re saying so far, as long as it’s about usFair dos, but it has to be taken into context.
