Clubs been one crazy gravy train, I just hope these two lads are the real deal that they seem to be, We could be in for some great times.

It was suggested on Newcastle Online that it would only be a matter of time til one of them posted something like this, and there it is.

PR man pandering to his audience and you lot are lapping it up.

f***ing hell man, have some dignity.:lol::lol:

Plenty on this thread acknowledging the guy has significant experience in PR and that we need to see what they do on the playing side, but still enjoying the first bit of positivity round the club for a couple of years despite the fact we are in a tough place.....but obviously that doesn't suit the piss taking agenda which is fair enough as if we dish it out we have to take it.

For the first time in years we seem to be unifying and getting behind the club. This actually feels better than when Quinny took over. The stuff I've read and heard from Donald and Methven is straight to the point, telling us all that the club is in a total mess, but that they're there to reverse that and bring some real good feeling back to the club.

Reginald Molehumper thinks it's all a PR gimmick that he can see right through. If Donald and Methven are shown up to be full of shit, they'll be hard pressed to be allowed to take over a fantasy football team, let alone a professional club.

Meanwhile, Reg and his ilk still hate their owner.

This all feels rather good.

"Yeah, he was kind of the link between the two clubs. He was a great manager for both clubs I think, and a great man, I absolutely love Denis. So it’s always been a club that I’ve been somewhat fond of from an early age — for some reason I’ve always had an antipathy towards Newcastle. I mean that wasn’t a determining factor in this, but it does mean I’ve always had a slight soft spot for Sunderland because I’ve always found Newcastle to be a rather arrogant club."

Ha'way the Meth

Look, I get that his job is to make the right noises, get the fans behind the project and hopefully create better times for the club. He certainly is accomplishing the first two if the response on here is anything to go by.

That said, there's absolutely no need to make up some utter horseshit about Newcastle to pander to the masses. It's both cringeworthy and unprofessional.......and that goes for any of our players/owners saying disparaging things about Sunderland.
