Based on Edward VIII Premier League record with Bournemouth I have projected forward...will 35 points be enough to survive. This is of course with a brand new squad.....fingers crossed this is not enough.

That’s a lot better than I genuinely expect tbh. He has to ask blokes to dig in and play themselves out of a job. ASM Nd the Wil brothers are the only ones who are probably welcoming this takeover.
@blue monday making himself look a bit foolish with his Beheddie was second choice comment
I’ve been on here nigh on 20 year and I can’t remember anyone getting so much so wrong in so few posts. Calling him Edward The Eighth Choice is flattering the lad actually.

If EH produces his best win rate (13 wins) and best draw rate (11) then they would get 9 wins, 8 draws and get to 40 points and stay up. i.e. EH has to reproduce his best ever Prem record to do that with a team with no wins in 11 games, scoring 1 per game and conceding 2.

Yes, he can sign in Jan but depending on the signings he could signal some are not needed. If they are wise they will not show their hand and sign stars.

You would imagine that Brentford, Norwich and Burnley at home are 3 of the 8 wins needed. Otherwise the task get much harder and what a glorious rest of December: LCFC, LFC, MCFC, MUFC, EFC :)

Yes.

There's no point trying to fantasise out an awful outcome, A club owned by one of the richest countries in the world would do fine without my support.
The idea that "you must unthinkingly support your club whilst owned by a bloke sportswashing genocide with it because if I don't it might go bust" is a nonsense argument.

If we're making this about me and SAFC rather than the real issue which is you and NUFC?

If SAFC's owner was unapologetically and directly involved in the death of 100,000 people because "they pray to the right god but pray in the wrong way."?
And he was using my club as a PR exercise.

At that point I'm out. The club I fell in love with has ceased to exist. And would stay so until he was gone.
👏

Throwing new signings into a team at once doesn't always work. Parachuting a player in who is getting 4 times the wages as his teammates can bring its own problems.

Awwwwh maaan and here’s me thinking this was turning into a wasted season. Cheers marra, that’s cheered me reet up.

So basically if these very same people went to take over Sunderland you would cease to be a fan and supporter....right?
And you would expect/hope everyone would follow suit, then have the club open to potential outside interest or even dissolved....right?
I’d hope so.

They’ve wanted a sportwashing outlet for years but not gotten anywhere.

Now they can hold up their lower Premier League side to UEFA like ID at a nightclub and say “How about some more?”

The more people reject that the better.

I would have absolutely no problem with not going to the games. I don't think anyone takes football as seriously as you sad bastards.

Shouted at Sports Direct shops over MA's policy on his staff contracts, but it's "only about the football" now. Bad f***ing weapons

Absolutely THIS!!! 👏👏👏

Wraithy must’ve hit up his Saudi overlords to genetically engineer an even bigger whopper to distract the UK public.

What kind of individual quits university to follow blokes around with a letter from an imaginary 7 year old?

He’s one to watch, for all the wrong reasons
When you watch crime documentaries and they keep saying "there were so many red flags and no one acted on them" 🤔.

Btw just got back from seeing my 84 years old nana and after i told her about the mental shit about the tea towels she said "they've always been crackers"

Wow Eddie is so radical with his ideas. I have no doubt Bruce did similair but didn't fit the narrative. Since time began teams have been going out for food / on the piss.

Cringeworthy.
Moyes did that with a trip to New York and how did that work out? 🤔
