That’s a lot better than I genuinely expect tbh. He has to ask blokes to dig in and play themselves out of a job. ASM Nd the Wil brothers are the only ones who are probably welcoming this takeover.

If EH produces his best win rate (13 wins) and best draw rate (11) then they would get 9 wins, 8 draws and get to 40 points and stay up. i.e. EH has to reproduce his best ever Prem record to do that with a team with no wins in 11 games, scoring 1 per game and conceding 2.

Yes, he can sign in Jan but depending on the signings he could signal some are not needed. If they are wise they will not show their hand and sign stars.

You would imagine that Brentford, Norwich and Burnley at home are 3 of the 8 wins needed. Otherwise the task get much harder and what a glorious rest of December: LCFC, LFC, MCFC, MUFC, EFC :)

Throwing new signings into a team at once doesn't always work. Parachuting a player in who is getting 4 times the wages as his teammates can bring its own problems.

I’d hope so.

They’ve wanted a sportwashing outlet for years but not gotten anywhere.

Now they can hold up their lower Premier League side to UEFA like ID at a nightclub and say “How about some more?”

The more people reject that the better.

I would have absolutely no problem with not going to the games. I don't think anyone takes football as seriously as you sad bastards.
