Reminds me a bit of when they were going to get Schweinsteiger in to replace Milner at the end of the transfer window. Never happened and Keegan ended up walking. That was the biggest meltdown they’ve ever had, and there’s some serious competition for that too.

For me, it says it all that they can’t get the Sports Direct signs down from the stadium due to contracts Ashley put in place. Why can’t the richest club in the world give him what he wants to let them take the signs down? Then they can put their Vision 2030 ads up, or whatever else they want to use to advertise themselves.

Seeing as they’re meant to be hoying loads of money into this to make themselves look great, that would seem an obvious move to me. But for some reason it isn’t happening.

In 4 weeks the only thing they’ve done is sack Bruce and put a league 2 manager in charge. Haven’t even got rid of Lee Charnley. You can tell something isn’t right with the whole thing.

Dont forget they've cleaned the windaz in the gallowgate

I imagine an awful lot of managers and footballers will refuse to sign for them. At least I hope so. Conscience too often is secondary these days where money is concerned.
It's already going spectacularly tits up for them and if the focus and pressure persists with the human rights stuff I can only see it getting worse and they will fuck off and leave them in a right mess.
