This is brilliant every foreign manager they are linked with twitter is full of Newcastle fans dissecting their tactics as though they are Gary Neville on MNF and saying what a brilliant coach they are when they haven’t got a fcking clue, then they turn them down and another manager is linked and rinse and repeat  . Fact is Newcastle are shite now any decent manager will wait until they are actually decent before taking the job.

I'm not saying it will happen, Christ I was surprised as anyone that it looked done yesterday, but those tweets read just like opinion to me 🤷🏻 No quotes and all his thoughts/ideas.

Lack of vision love it, I’m getting the feeling these chancers are going to spunk a lot of Saudi money up the wall. Stewart Donald with a wig

He hasn't sined yet, when he puts his head on the pillow tonight it's going to feel like a chopping block, the only way he will get to sleep is if he gets stoned first. I hope he doesn't live in a high rise apartment.
I thought as much
I can't see them getting Howe for the same reason, Houghton would blow them out too, best chance for them is to either give it to Jones or big Sam

Not sure why he'd be in a hurry to run to Newcastle. He couldn't make Arsenal a decent side in his time there, and Newcastle are a thousand miles behind where Arsenal were when he took over. His bread is buttered where he is imo. Newcastle would be a very long term task.
Agree with this. Emery isn't a quick fix type of manager. Is known to be a meticulous planner with a long term vision when taking jobs. If NUFC were a stable mid table side then maybe but firefighting a relegation battle doesn't strike me as his type of 'project'. However, money talks...…..

Stuff is obviously being leaked to the NE journalists to keep them onside, but Hope is going to look very silly if the BBC is correct and he has turned them down

Yet Sky Sports just reported on it and no mention of him "knocking us back"..... The real truth is we have no idea what they are thinking.
They may be clueless or they may be taking the time to assess all possible options thus indicating they do have a clue and do not intend to panic.
Sky also reported he was their first choice which is obviously not true

I’m having horrible recollections of no red flags, we’re confident, it’s going to happen any day with Unai Emery now. Everything I was told yesterday was there was still a lot of work to do. Let’s see how the day unfolds but @GuillemBalague is very reliable normally #NUFC
