Money, the big push for Wind turbines came under Cameron, him Osborne and Clegg all had connections through family, Cameron's Father in law was being paid £10000 per day to have wind turbines on his land.
Bill Gates is now the largest owner of farmland in America so he can produce his synthetic beef.

On top of that, Howe isn't that much of an upgrade on Bruce and isn't for his defensive solidity, which is what they're going to need!
