If you think we would have come back up under MA next season that's your perogative but I respectfully disagree

Very true mate we are down

Last time you had a better team, a stronger squad and a ton of money to spend.
Not sure any of that would be available to you this time around.

When we had players other teams wanted to but sissoko and debuchy went fir 50 million +
That's not what I said. He spent £60m to get you out of the championship which was a huge amount of money at the time. Of course you sell players and tbh getting £50m for sissoko was a stroke of genius. Do you not think he would sell st maximus, lascelles ect to get you back in the prem? They won't want a season in the champ even under your new owners so will that be the same?

Potentially worth a lot more though.

Of course, they only sold for 2 x revenue when other clubs (who qualified for Europe) are being touted as 5+ x revenue. The question is how much would it take to get to Europe? 5 x current (covid affected) revenue is 763m and if they grew revenue they could easily be valued at 1bn.

West Ham's turnover is less than mags at 139m (152.6m) but the recent purchase of 27% of WHU for a touted 180m-200m puts the totally value at 667m-740m or c5 x revenue.

I read something recently that showed that their revenue had not risen at the same rate as similar clubs. If they can sort that out quickly they can flip for a quick profit and focus on Inter.

How many FTSE250 companies have HQ's in Newcastle? Same applies to LFC & EFC but LFC have the tourist market. Easier said than done to grow commercial revenue.

If they pick up points in the next three games they've got every chance of staying up. Far too early.
Mind you, if arsenal beat them then the next team (Burnley?) then the game after that will have insane pressure on it.

Also, no way is Conte going to lose today!

Watching the highlights on match of the day, they look worse than they did under Bruce 😂 every time Brentford went forward the mag defence was shocking

One of the most unbalanced squads I can remember. It's all well and good buzzing you've had a few shots for the first time in about 4 years but there's a reason they usually camp in their own box and play on the counter under every manager they've had.

Norwich.

I’m not convinced the Saudi money will be hoyed about as expected. They’ve haggled over the price, gone in with partners rather than the whole 100%, and apparently baulked over £200k towards the backroom staff.

Even if they do, these elite players have got to want to go there too. The top level players will want to be in Europe, unless they get daft money but that tells you their heart isn’t really in it a la Robinho to Man City.
Imagine if they haggle like mad and spend less than £25m in January

But we should go straight back up which would not have happened under Ashley.
Comedy gold, absolutely fecking comedy gold man!
The speed or lack of it, that they took to fire Bruce, appoint Howe and the yet to be appointed DOF, suggests they are going to miss out on players near deadline day as they are going to be very very slow to react.
If they follow up with that speed, then it will be 4 days after window closes that someone in Saudi replies to an email to Amanda giving the go ahead for a £90m bid for Mitrovic

Off the top of my head, Gregg’s, Bellway, Grainger, Go Ahead group. I would guess there will be quite a few more.
Villa massively improved their revenue. I would guess Leeds have as well but obviously they spent shitloads of time outside PL.

8 wins and 7 draws will get them 37 points. That is 15 positive results from 26 games.

8 wins is a win rate of 30.77%. EH's best season was 34.21%, so 9 wins (and 4 draws) which would also do it. Essentially EH has to perform like his best season for them to stay up.
.. 25 when they get beat by Arsenal ..

Be funny if Bouncy had still been in charge.

On another note loads of Mags on Twitter saying if Bruce was as good as his media mates said then why isn't he in the running for the Man United job? Without a hint of irony that Howe would never be in the running for that role either yet apparently is their new Messiah.

Bizzare behaviour
