You can blame him for us creating absolutely nothing for the 3rd home game in a row.
Ok, sorry for the bump, but you can give him 100% credit for the win. He agreed with you with regards the first half but he was positive and asked the players to be a bit more brave and it paid off.
Tells it like it is iirc
Have you seen the post match interview? If not, have a watch and see if you can add a smilie on to your reply.

yep i posted that after the game.

Just watched O’Nien’s post match interview and I think there was a very telling comment in there.

He said that the gaffer and his staff “have come in and given us clear instructions”.

We have a team full of weak minded kids that a vast majority belong to other people.I fear for us as generally we get hammered on a night like tonight.Massive concerns with this bunch

It’s two isn’t it, two of them are on loan from other clubs.

‘Vast majority’

Unless you’re counting Broadhead, who’s played 1 game in 4 months. Or Hoffman who hasn’t played the last 5, or Dajaku who’s done similar

Soz mate. Its always poor form to bump such comments cos we're all guilty sometimes. And to be honest I said to my mate at half time that that was possibly the worst I've seen. That Alex Neil agrees with that assessment is a positive. The 3 points was down to a manager who knows what he is doing.

Showed he’s made of stronger stuff than the last 4 Managers

Can you imagine Parkinson or Ross soon that at half time?

Johnson would’ve waited til 65 at least then done something probably more erratic with no real direction.

Neil was talking to Gooch and Defoe 5 minutes before the first half ended…

Scored one more but less assists according to this, by the way I never mentioned Pritchard, you brought up the comparison.

My point is its factually inaccurate to say he creates nothing. There's only one player in the squad who could or should keep Embleton out of the team and that's Pritchard. Embleton clearly has talent, hopefully he improves under Neil, stuff like work rate and maybe fitness. He's already got a promotion out of this league on his cv. Critchley played him out of position at Blackpool as they had a number 10 but he said Embleton was crucial to them.
