The football in the dying days of Johnson was no better than this. They became aimless, bereft of confidence and created little. Only we conceded lots too.

Neil has had some limited impact. We’re definitely tighter at the back and that was vital.

I didnt say it was better or worse i said it was a totally different style.

Tell you what, LJ would not have made one change at HT and kept the same side till the 65 minute mark. Parkinson would have kept the same side till the 80th minute.

Great to have someone in the dugout who makes a couple of changes at HT, and changes the formation to have more of an impact on the game.

Hear ex pro's often say how formation isnt as important as how players apply themselves. I just cant see how its not a huge factor in how players then apply themselves. Tnite is perfect example. By changing formation we were able to get more width and attacking midfield play. Always surprised when they dismiss formations. Steve bruce often use to say same. Danny collins always mentions it

Have to give him a lot of credit, changed things with some brave subs and if worked. Think he's being let down by performances as on paper it looks like he is picking the right team

Nobody can deny his changes changed the game. Well done Alex

We won 3-1 mate
They missed a sitter at 1-1, about 10 yards out. Should never have come to this playing a team like that especially at home
