Alex Neil is a good manager. His record is solid. He’s made some very effective subs tonight and was bold.

Overall performance was still poor. I didn’t like some of the attitude and approach of lots of players tonight. There are too many posers in that side.
That Peformance from start to finish was a massive worry for me .

Certainly doesn’t feel like a win

Could have easily lost it. He just chucked a load of forwards on and hoped for the best

It’s like our team is a bit bipolar at the minute and confidence is still brittle. Played poorly but should gain confidence. Surely we can win on Saturday and then all of a sudden we’re in some sort of form. But it could as easily fall off a cliff again if we suffer just one defeat. That’s the worry.

There are worries all over the park. But at this stage, wins are wins. The side are that flakey any win is welcome.

He should be telling some of them in no uncertain terms that their attitude and application was unacceptable at times. When the very basics aren’t being done it was particularly galling to see some of the keepy ups, foot rolls and fancy flicks. Too many posers on that park tonight. When they’ve got the game sewn up and they’re doing the business consistently they can start with that froth and not a moment sooner.

We have a team full of weak minded kids that a vast majority belong to other people.I fear for us as generally we get hammered on a night like tonight.Massive concerns with this bunch

He’s been shite so far, 2nd choice (if that) and was never the answer.

I was blown away getting back from Charlton and reading the positivity on here. We created a few half chances against the most out of form team in the division who were buzzing with a point from the get go. The style of play (and certainly the results) hasn’t changed one iota from Johnson’s.

The style of play has changed hugely, were much more defensive now. Whether you think thats a good thing or a bad thing is up for debate

The football in the dying days of Johnson was no better than this. They became aimless, bereft of confidence and created little. Only we conceded lots too.

Neil has had some limited impact. We’re definitely tighter at the back and that was vital.
