Close, but, they should have just gone with the unplugged So CloseChange of Season - Daryl Hall and John Oates.
You’re right there mate. One of the most emotionally honest albums I’ve ever heard. Stunning. Some great choices in there. Carrie and Lowell potential album of the decade contender.
Didn’t they do both ? Such an underated song.Close, but, they should have just gone with the unplugged So Close

I’ve never heard of them or it. I will look it up. What can I expect ?Absolutely. Anybody who hasn’t heard it should drop what they’re doing and listen to it now !
Yes, I'm saying if they'd left off the first one it would have been a perfect albumDidn’t they do both ? Such an underated song.
Nitpicking. Nowt wrong with the first one. Such a great song with great lyrics worth listening to twice.Yes, I'm saying if they'd left off the first one it would have been a perfect album
Expect an emotionally charged, relatively sparse album. Worth reading the back story. It was written after the death of his mam. She was inand out of his life in his childhood and adulthood, and a difficult woman to boot. Some of the songs are linear in addressing the fact, some explore what might have been/what his perfect relationship with her might have looked like, some explore his early memories. It’s unbelievable, beautiful. There’s a line close to the end where he says ‘fuck me im falling apart’ and it makes the hairs stand up on my neck every time.I’ve never heard of them or it. I will look it up. What can I expect ?
Zero 7 - Simple ThingsI’ll start
Despite not being a huge fan of them
Pulp - Different Class
