Akpom


Whys there people on here talking as if we are close to signing Akpom? Everything I've seen indicated he wouldn't come to Sunderland, doesn't want to play in the championship and now Leicester and Marsielle are interested.

Am I missing something or are people just getting ahead of themselves again on here as per?
 
All I’ve seen is that we’re interested and that’s as far as I’ve read.

Will have to hurry this one up to get him in before the deadline if we’re serious and he’s interested.

Doubt you’re missing anything.
Sensible option is just to wait and see what happens. Anything else is just fantasy at the moment

not what I said at all. But you know that you little scamp. I can see why he' might be useful, he has the experience and would be a boost to the squad and most likely the first eleven. I've just not been entirely convinced by what I've seen of him before. But he still starts with a clean slate. .....if there's anything in the rumour.

What's his record been like since leaving Boro? His best season there was when he was used as a 10, which is interesting as we don't play with one.

That’s the thing mate. We play with a pacey centre forward. I’m still unsure why anyone would want any to come here and sit on the bench.
Isidor is a huge factor in how we have been so successful and a poacher (Connolly) hasn’t been able to get into the side. For me, a left back is priority.
