This, this board thinks 11 good players with kids on the bench. Look at options other teams in this division have it’s incredible. When we make a sub often it weakens the team.

It's more that he's had a rest when injured it's just a narrative as soon as he doesn't play well it's that he's jaded it's ok to just say he's not at his best, agreed he needs rotating I'd play Roberts on Saturday.

For my one and likely only bit of info I will ever get - I have heard we are definitely in for him and have had an offer in since before the Burnley game
Phil Smith reckons they’re actively not letting Roberts play 3 games in a week due to his hamstring issues in the past so I can definitely see him coming in.

Hasnt he just recently missed 3 or 4 weeks with injury? He's only been back since Stoke in cup. Think it's just more a dip in form than anything else. He's 17, ups and downs will happen.

I get what youre saying, I'd prefer our third striker to be more of a 9 than a 10 as I think between Mayenda, Rigg and Le Fee (once Mundle is back) we'll have enough variety for that area of the pitch. Don't doubt he's a good player who I think would do well though.

The whole point I was making is Akpom isn't a late bloomer as such. He was on Arsenal's books for years and played for England at pretty much every age level. He just didn't push on despite being a professional until he was 27.
