Will we ever see this lad fit and available ? Could be an asset but who knows ?
If we continue to do the right thing and invest and develop youth, I really do hope I'll see the next Gary Rowell or Marco Gabbiadini come through and make us excited to watch what possible..

I'd wait till January to see if he can contribute in some way first. Get him out on loan then if he needs more games or is lacking in certain areas.

my worry with the likes of him and Aleksic is that promotion may have come too soon. Hopefully we can find a way of developing both and giving them an opportunity down the line
I wouldn’t worry too much about the club outgrowing players. If any player isn’t good enough to step up to the Premier League they’re of no use to us on the pitch. In the same way Clarke & Bellingham decided, if they’re better than the level we’re at, they’ll move to a club they consider to be more successful

He will be a pre-season look and then a 6 month loan in the Championship / Scots Prem to get him match sharpness.
Then look again in January depending on how were doing and he's doing.

Aleksik is another one who needs a similar deal.

Both look really decent prospects but need mens football at a decent level

Think the thing with getting young foreigners in, you’ve got a bit of a duty to babysit them initially. Get tnem used to England, Sunderland, lifestyle, football, communication. I’m guessing we’ve gave these lads that time now, so it’s getting them onto a pitch somewhere to play at a decent standard.
