Adil Aouchiche

I like AA and think we should be keeping him, but he's one of those players that look as if they still haven't found the position they can contribute most in.

Something that denies us formation options is the lack of potential wing backs in the squad, Hume and Cirkin could do a job there obviously but that's about it unless you use your wingers as wing backs which doesn't always work.

I wondered if AA's attributes might make him a candidate to train to play as a left wing back if we were ever to play with 3 at the back.

Aouchie wasn’t even on the bench for the Coventry game mate, it was only after Mundle injury he was in bench for Millwall game, and any bench appearances before then were very sparodic at best.

I still don't think he would have brought him back in if his attitude stunk the place out. He also could have dropped him from the bench already.

It's clear he doesn't like the kid but to say it's because of his attitude seems to me to be a little bit easy because it happened before when he was about 18-19?

He was filling in on the left while we had injuries, now we have brought Le Fee in who is doing that job.

He’s on the bench as part of the squad.

Absolutely nothing surprising about it, but of course on here people need to look for an issues where there aren’t any.

I don't think it's that they haven't found a position, it's that Régis simply doesn't like the lad (a hang over from Lorient?) and isn't the type to forgive and forget. In my experience that's a very French trait. It's a real shame for AA because IMO given game time the lad will kick on and become a really good player

He's a number 10 who can play across the front line but not really great defensively which I think is an essential part of being a wing back. I think he's been a little unlucky in his time here. I wish him well in the future, a very good attacking player on his day.

Portsmouth is about his level.
I think he's a potentially very good player as a number 10 in the hands of the right manager. Le Bris obviously doesn't rate him so he'll need to move on sadly. He could comfortably make his name in the top half of the championship or even lower to mid table premiership as a squad player, in my opinion. He's still young enough to improve even more. I'd keep him, he has good attacking attributes always looking forward.

When everyone is fit our attackers are.. Le Fee, Rigg, Watson, Mundle, Mayenda and Roberts. Even Isidor could be a wide option with the right striker signed. He's just not getting ahead of any of those. Once Mundle and Watson are back he won't even get on the bench.

Time for him to move on.

With our lack of depth can only hope we’ve got some people lined up and are trying to free up space on the wage bill. Otherwise he is a useful utility player to have
