In Stewart Donald’s radio interview he did say that there “were lots of groups interested in buying Sunderland” or words to that effect.
Not heard that interview.

It's hardly surprising if there's local businessmen involved in consortium's then bits and bobs will get leaked out.

What I was told a couple of weeks back was from a business owner who has no interest in football, but mixes in circles with quite a few who do.
I was told two names, one of whom is now known and the other has not come out.
The second one has been approached to be involved in some capacity, but I don't know any more detail than that.
It's not one that @Speedy1976 had heard about.

Looks like nobody wants the club if they have ended their interest, can't blame them to be honest. Sick and tired of it dragging on and on, surely we're due abit of positive news.

Instead of focussing on some event we know may or may not happen based on a position we aren't in what we need to do is, I think, think about focussing on an event we know may or may not happen based on a position we are in. We know Ellis is our owner so we need to look to him to learn what his plan is for the next 10 or 15 years. Recovery is not a short term plan but a long term plan.

I keep saying it.

We would be better off...taking full page ads in the Beijing Times / Abu Dhabi Times / Qatari Times etc

With background of our fantastic club, and beg them to buy us.

Couldnt be worse than how it is now.......
