The summer transfer window opens on May 17th and closes on August 9th for Premier League and all EFL clubs the rest of Europe is June 1st to August 31st

No. You will never have heard of them and maybe even the club they resurrected (in a top 5 European co-efficient), but I believe that experience is totally relevant to our future.

No. I don't know anything about the Pearson consortium. I can't say much more, but what I will say is that if Pearson puts together a bid that is better for the club than this one, I'd also be happy. My worry is that he'll put together the bid that's best for Short.

Yes the last part is a concern because let’s face it Short will do what’s best for Short to the detriment of everyone and everything!!
 
Brian Marwood is an interesting name thrown in earlier in the thread.

Not that I mind but Ray Ranson made a mess at Coventry City didn't he?
